Benedictine University faculty and staff celebrate Founders' Day, the commemoration of the founding of our schools on March 2, 1887. Before beginning the celebration in prayer, Fr. James shared a reflection on the founding monks and the values of compassion and concern that motivated their efforts to establish Catholic higher education. See Fr. James' Newsletter 168 for a transcript of his reflection and prayer.
Fr. James' Facebook post: "From last week's Founders' Day program at our University. Our postulant, Br. Paul, was there with myself and Fr. Edward. Fr. Ed continues to serve as the chaplain at Benet, even as he prepares to celebrate his ninetieth birthday next month."
